This evening the Millom and district Woman's rural growth network met at the Glow With Health studios near St George's Terrace for a Feel Fantastic Party.
Owner Bella Howse had organised some enjoyable activities all related to feeling great about ourselves.
She claims on her website that she is sometimes very naughty and describes herself as no angel! She promotes exercise and healthy living with a view to making people feel fantastic.
Judith Smith from Palanquin Flair from brought some exquisite fashion items. Judith is based in the Lake District and offers a relaxed and warm welcome at her showroom.
Many of her designs are exclusive and all are top quality. She became an "accidental fashion importer" when she discovered the wonders of Pashmina, silk and fine wool on a trip to Rajasthan.
Within a year, she was selling to more than 100 shops throughout the UK.
What I really like is having interaction and building relationships with the women who wear our clothing. I have many regular customers who come every season to top up their wardrobes.
Andy Deacon from Digital Product Imaging shot free portraits such as the one of Judith seen above.
Monica Naylor from Millom gave a demonstration of her 'rag rugging'. This is a traditional craft of creating rugs from small pieces of scrap cloth woven into sacking. Everyone was amazed at the beautiful rugs she has made.
Other participants included Andy Smith who is a clinical hypnotherapist.
